Our Founder, Darren Bailey, is a passionate leader and problem-solver with a track record of success proven across multiple sectors and industries. After gaining experience working with the Illinois State Senate, Darren directly engineered millions in savings during his two terms as the Treasurer of Union County, Illinois before leaving to become the CEO of the Crabtree Holding Company and its six subsidiaries, including flagship business, Masters Choice, Inc.-- one of the country’s largest independent seed corn companies.
Darren has received many awards and recognitions for his work and commitment to others, including being nominated by Governor Pat Quinn to be an Illinois representative to the Delta Regional Authority’s Delta Leadership Institute, selected by Governor Jim Edgar as one of the first two southern Illinoisans in his Edgar Fellows Program, which strives to identify the current and future leaders of Illinois, and recognized as one of the most outstanding young leaders in the southern Illinois region as a Top 20 Under 40 by the Southern Business Journal.
